The first model of CoughSync series is CoughSync100EU In-line Exsufflator, specifically designed for ICU invasively ventilated patients to remove secretions automatically and noninvasively without interrupting the normal working of ICU ventilators. This feature brings important benefits to patients, medical staff, hospital and even the government due to the potentially great expense decrease which is caused by shortened ICU stay and VAP control. Furthermore, the values of the CoughSync100EU for fighting covid-19 are at least as follows:1) Reducing the workload of airway care for ICU staff while reducing their risk of infection;2) The only physical method promising to solve the problem of secretion clearance in the deep lung, reducing or preventing the formation of sputum plugs in distal small airways, of critically ill COVID-19 patients;3) Minimize the number of times of manual catheter suction to reduce the risk of complications caused by airway trauma, while reduce greatly patients pain.
